Our history

2011

Netwave is founded in 2011 to develop an AI software processor based on the work of one of its co-founders, Jean Pierre Malle, and dedicated to analysing large volumes of data on website visitors’ browsing behaviour. The processor represents a real alternative to deductive systems, which are onerous in terms of configuration and training. No fewer than 72 patents are filed for it in Europe, the USA, China, Russia, Japan, and beyond.

This technology enables Netwave to provide its clients with a software platform that can make non-stored/non-structured data commercially usable in real time. With this technology, a totally personalized interaction can be defined in real time, without any prior modelling and across all channels. It constantly adapts its interactions automatically without any human intervention.


2013

Netwave’s first clients in 2013 include Cdiscount, Rue du Commerce and La Redoute. Netwave expands to the UK in 2016, thanks to the arrival of its UK Director, Alex Meisl, a well-known figure on the British mobile marketing scene.

 

2018

Publishers of e-commerce, marketing automation, marketplace management and audience monetization platforms start to adopt Netwave technology and embed it into their own solutions..

2019

Netwave launches its Advertising module, used to manage ad space activity on websites in a personalized way (displays or sponsored products).

 

2021

Netwave is now based in London and Toulouse. It continues to develop the most agile Interactive AI platform on the market and launches the first in-flight personalization platform, which personalizes airlines’ embedded applications. Its clients can be found anywhere from the west coast of the USA to the shores of the Mediterranean or the north of England.

Graduated in Political Science and holder of a master's degree in Business Law, Jean-Luc BERNARD has spent most of his career in advertising and relational marketing (EURO RSCG, CA Communication, D Interactive) with a period in retail as General Manager of the CONNEXION group. After founding Lineasoft in 2004 (publisher of management solutions for e-commerce and VAD companies), he created Netwave in 2013, of which he has been CEO since.

Diplômé de l’Institut Méditerranéen d’Etudes et Recherche en Informatique et Robotique (IMERIR), Jérôme Termes est un ingénieur chevronné passé notamment par IBM, Experian, Air France (pilotage de la refonte de leur site) et Sylob éditeur de solution ERP. C’est également un entrepreneur qui a été CTO et co-fondateur de plusieurs startups développant des offres SaaS. Après avoir participé au développement de Cocoon Care, startup proposant des capteurs au service de la sécurité des seniors, il a rejoint Netwave en juillet 2021 pour accélérer son développement industriel en tant que CTO.

Graduated of the Mediterranean Institute for Studies and Research in Computer Science and Robotics (IMERIR), Jérôme Termes is an experienced engineer who worked for IBM, Experian, Air France (managing the redesign of their site) and Sylob, an ERP solution editor. He is also an entrepreneur who has been CTO and co-founder of several startups developing SaaS offers. After participating in the development of Cocoon Care, a startup offering sensors for the safety of seniors, he joined Netwave in July 2021 to accelerate his industrial development as CTO.

Graduated of Toulouse Business School and holder of the DECF (Finance and accounting expertise diploma), Daniel BENCHIMOL founded EUROGICIEL in 1989. He was its President from its creation until 2014, when he sold his company which then had more than 1000 employees in France and abroad. International. Active in many associations, dynamic business angel, Daniel BENCHIMOL is the founding President of the Midi Pyrénées DigitalPlace IT cluster and sits on the board of many IT startups.

Ingénieur Commercial HEC-Ulg (Liège), titulaire d’une license en Droit Fiscal et d’une seconde en Méthodes Quantitatives en Finance, Olivier REMACLE est un des associés fondateurs du cabinet fiscal ATOZ à Luxembourg (2004). Ayant commencé sa carrière dans la finance chez Fidelity Investments avant de rejoindre le département fiscal d’Arthur Andersen, Olivier siège aujourd’hui comme administrateur auprès de l’Ordre des Experts Comptables à Luxembourg et auprès de l’Association luxembourgeoise du Private Equity (LPEA). Outre son activité de fiscaliste, Olivier suit et soutien plusieurs entreprises en tant que Business Angel/Seed investor.

Commercial Engineer HEC-Ulg (Liège), holder of a license in Tax Law and a second in Quantitative Methods in Finance, Olivier REMACLE is one of the founding partners of the tax consulting firm ATOZ in Luxembourg (2004). Having started his career in finance at Fidelity Investments before joining the tax department of Arthur Andersen, Olivier now sits as a director with the Ordre des Experts Comptables in Luxembourg and with the Luxembourg Private Equity Association (LPEA). ). In addition to his activity as a tax specialist, Olivier follows and supports several companies as a Business Angel / Seed investor.
